Configure a Google Site with Cloudflare to Work with Naked Domain
A naked domain is https://yourdomain.com without the www. Here's a prescription to get a naked domain to work with a Google Site using Cloudflare. Go to your domain name registrar and point your dns to Cloudflare (after you setup an account on Cloudflare.com) Set custom name servers: dora.ns.cloudflare.com | phil.ns.cloudflare.com Configure Cloudflare, add your domain. Cloudflare: edit: CNAME = dns only, 1 hr (click on the cloud to turn it off) Add dns record: AAAA = @ / 100:: Set SSL = Full Strict Add Page Rule: domain.com/* | forward 301 | https://www.domain.com/$1 Go to Google Sites: Settings: Custom domains, delete, setup, wait. There is a propagation factor with dns settings. Wait time is typically stated as 48 hours but I often find everything working in an hour or so.
